ALLOWING YOUR VALIDATION AND APPROVAL TO COME FROM GOD…

Why is it that we always feel like we have to receive validation or approval from other people rather than God?

You look on social media today and all you see are people seeking validation or approval from others.

You see girls and boys twerking, showing off their butts and other parts of their body.

You hear them speak with language not fit for a creation created by God.

Yeah, people just putting their business out there for the whole world to see.

Those same people parade themselves like pagans one day and then say, “Praise the Lord the next.”

The only validation one should seek is that of God, and not from other people.

Validation is one way that people communicate acceptance of themselves and others.

Validation is the recognition and acceptance of another person’s thoughts, feelings, emotions, and behaviors towards yours.Gal. 1:10
For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ. Seek God’s approval, not mans!!

There is only so much other people can do to make one feel good, but God….He has the only True One… that’s going to make you feel good spiritually all the time, and His name is JESUS. John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I have come that they may have life, and have it in all its fullness.

Only Jesus is the living water. Only in Him will we never thirst outside approval. Only when you crave Christ and the approval of God, will that bondage for the craving of human approval be broken. John 7:37,38On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink.Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’”

Early in the beginning of my husband’s walk, I can remember the Lord telling him just this:
“ I need you to stop thinking you have to seek validation and, or approval of who you are from other people..”

“Don’t you know that I Am all the proof you need…All the proof you need in order to know that, you are a new being in Me, saith the Lord.”

You will never receive the recognition from those you seek acknowledgement from concerning your newness and oneness in Me….. They will always see you and know you as T, awaiting your slip up and fall.

Sorry son, but that approval will never come from those you seek it from, even though they see your turn around, change, and walk for Me.”

It was God telling him that, even though they saw the change in him he would never hear it.”

So, stop looking for another’s validation and approval that has already been given to you through Christ. 1 Peter 3:3 Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear—

Only unbelievers seek validation, it’s who they are, they don’t know any better. John 5:38“You do not have His word abiding in you, for you do not believe Him whom He sent.”
Let’s remember to seek God in everything Luke 12:31 Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and he will give you everything you need.
